Yeah...
Mmh...

You tell me not to call you up
'Cause it ties you down
Don't tell your friends
You've been hangin' round
You must be crazy for me

You say you'll see me once or twice
Every week or two
There's more important things
That you've got to do
You must be crazy for me

'Cause when I kissed you last night
In my own backyard
You ran so fast
And you fought so hard
You must be crazy for me
You must be crazy for me

You don't like my hair
You don't like my car
You don't like my friends
You met at the bar
You must be crazy for me

I see you shake you head
And you roll your eyes
Your firm remark
To remove my thigh
You must be crazy for me

'Cause when I kissed you last night
In my own backyard
You ran so fast
And you fought so hard
You must be crazy for me
You must be crazy for me
Yeah...

Do not expect you to wait
Do not expect you to phone
Do not expect anything
When I catch you alone, baby
You must be crazy for me

'Cause when I kissed you last night
In my own backyard
You ran so fast
And you fought so hard
You must be crazy for me
You must be crazy for me

I know
I know you're crazy for me, baby
You must be crazy for me, baby
I know you're crazy for me
Come on, come on
I know you're crazy for me
Yeah, yeah
Crazy for me
You can tell me now
I know you're crazy for me
Hey, yeah, yeah
Crazy for me
Ooh-huh, crazy for me

Nothing against the folks who choose that lifestyle, I think folks should make that very personnal decision for themselves. Just thought a song about it was odd.
As long as the words "choose" and "lifestyle" are used, it is implied that someone is going against one's own nature by being in an intimate relationship with a member of your own gender. All credible science research has proven that nothing is chosen. People are born that way. Melissa Etheridge was always attracted to women. She didn't choose that attraction any more so than you chose to be attracted to a person of the opposite gender. If you think back far enough, you can probably remember being attracted to members of the opposite gender long before puberty (I'm pretty sure I, as a boy, had a thing for girls before kindergarten).
This song is horrible--and I like Melissa Etheridge. There has to be a better song with crazy in the title to play after Patsy Cline's Crazy if you're going for an insanity theme.

I don't care who's kissing who, this song is still lousy. Why'd you bring it back, Bill?
Life is too short for boring music.
Just the same, it's an intriguing and wonderful album cover.
She's no Patsy Cline.

Not as disgusting as listening to bigots.
