Sweet, wonderful you
You make me happy with the things you do
Oh, can it be so?
This feeling follows me wherever I go
I never did believe in miracles
But I've a feeling it's time to try
I never did believe in the ways of magic
But I'm beginning to wonder why
I never did believe in miracles
But I've a feeling it's time to try
I never did believe in the ways of magic
But I'm beginning to wonder why
Don't, don't break the spell
It would be different and you know it will
You, you make loving fun
And I don't have to tell you, but you're the only one
You, you make loving fun (It's all I wanna do)
You, you make loving fun (It's all I wanna do)
You, you make loving fun (It's all I wanna do)
You, you make loving fun (It's all I wanna do)
You make me happy with the things you do

In this song, does "loving" mean sex?
Who knows what really went on behind the scenes, but I always had the impression that Christine was the steadying force in FM. At least on stage she was always at the side, not really in the spotlight, just doing her thing, and doing it so incredibly well. Such a sad loss when she passed.
Ah, the beautiful voice of Christine McVie! Such a great compliment to the vocals of Stevie and Lindsey. Such a great band all the way round. RIP Christine.
One of the First albums I can remember. On heavy rotation in my Dad's car in the 70's. Foundational in my appreciation for popular music. I did not realize how many of these classics were Christine's. Missing her. Missing my Dad too. Dad's in Car tape collection circa 78' - Boston-Fleetwood Mac-ELO-Yes-Pink Floyd- ABBA too!. Over and over at 70 miles an hour on the way to some New England ski area (half of which don't exist anymore). Welded the music into my brain at 9 yrs old. Of yeah, and not to overlook our man Charles Laquidara! rocking WBCN when the tape player was not running the show.
RIP Christine xxx

So very true.
I'm so saddened by her loss. Her brillinace in Fleetwood Mac just flew under the radar.

I tend to gravitate to Christine's songs for some reason. This and Brown Eyes from Tusk for example.
One of my Desert Island Albums ~ and probs my fave track.
This and CSNY are the soundtrack to my life. Thanks, RP!

The album is an 11, and pretty much each track is a 10 (to my ears at least)
Long Live RP and the 'mellow' mix to hear this one!

Because, you know, otherwise it's unpleasant and a lot like work.
Christine's back in the band!
70 years old. Hmm.

Timeless.
Irritating.

love this marvelous song from a truly great album...
SAY WHAT YOU WILL, SOUNDS SWEET TO ME ...
It's a nice song -
but in my memory quite an example of becoming commercial what started so much better in the 60ies...
This song is soooo good for the ears... love this whole album...
If you read Mick Fleetwoods book, the only band-mate she slept with was her then husband....now the sound guy, and maybe a roadie was a different story. At one point during their run she was involved with Dennis Wilson of the B-Boys..
from what we're told, she found quite a few band-mates clackers interesting, hence the soap-opera.

Great album, solid all around. Christine McVie is largely overlooked due to the shadow of Stevie Nicks, but she shines just a bright. Many of my favorite Fleetwood Mac tunes have her on lead vocal.

Being a teen of the 70's I so hate this song
Bar a couple of tracks, this entire album is 10/10 for me. A particular favourite is Never Going Back Again and OF COURSE The Chain (always seems to come on when I'm at traffic lights...) but this track's also good in smaller doses. Any cut from this record is a welcome addition to the playlist.
Groovy pocket, I am inside of you!
Excellent song from a great album. FMAC put out some great albums for a long run from the 60s to the early 80s.
I always loved Buckingham's fills on this one.
How about the guitar by Mr. Buckingham?
Had this on 8-track. ( look it up )
And it sure has heck hasn't been played here in a long time! Love it!
Wow, haven't heard this in a long time!
Something about the arrangement, McVie's rendering, that have made it a favorite. FM radio couldn't kill it for me.
