Measuring a summer's day
I only find it slips away to grey
The hours, they bring me pain

Tangerine, Tangerine
A living reflection of a dream
I was her lover, she was my queen
And now a thousand years between

Thinking how it used to be
Does she still remember times like these
To think of us again
And I do

Tangerine, Tangerine
A living reflection of a dream
I was her lover, she was my queen
And now a thousand years between

Oh, blasphemy! This cover is absolutely and completely useless, if not to point out that Big Head Todd & The Monsters were/are out of creativity, I can't even play songs from others. Yikes!

10 for the original. 7 for BHT just for attempting to cover something completely over their heads and doing a decent job at it.
Agreed!

Come on Todd! You got a better solo in you than THAT. A little tame for BHT, but OK.
I agree...just add the original...with the rest of the third album!

Why REPLACE? Why delete music from rotation? Why not ADD the original to the playlist? <-X

I can definitely believe that, and I haven't even heard the original.

I'm a big fan of Zeppelin, but this has never been one of my favorites. Way to go Todd&the Monsters! They brought a more subdued groove to the song that I definitely like.
the cardinal rule of cover versions: if you can't bring anything new to it, don't do it. and if you're going to hurt it, PLEASE don't do it. sheesh.
I love this laconic version. Makes me want to take a nap and have a tuna fish sandwich when I wake up!

I said you must be kidding because I consider this one of the finest Zeppelin songs and the way it is totally destroyed by Big head Todd without any kind of musical inspiration. Well I may be exagerating.. but I honestly believe that this cover is extremely mediocre, IMHO of course
's'a'ight.
it's all zep mania tonight, eh? (nothing wrong with that though)

Interesting version-first time hearing it. Not bad, lets start at 6 and see where it goes.

I like the twangy feel plus Todd straight up rocks.
Um, not sure much Tool gets played on this site, but my favorite Zep cover is their version of "No Quarter." Although, of course, I expect no quarter in any criticism I receive, least of all referring to me as a tool...for Tool..or otherwise.
This is a great cover--put their own spin on it without demolishing the original vibe of the song...
Not bad

Difficult to cover LZ But this one is interesting, 7
It's cool that they tried to cover this song, but it's also not so cool that they did in fact cover this song. If you know what I mean.
ditto to everyone who said they'd rather hear the zeppelin version. given the choice between an original zeppelin tune and a cover, i can't think of a single time when i'd rather hear the cover...
Golly - I like it too! ,,,and I'm a big zep fan. Of course I am a BHTM fan too!

I agree to replace the version with the original..this version was a total waste of time and energy...so poor and lifeless
An ordinary cover of an outstanding song

True, but this isn't bad. Kinda cool that someone gave it a shot. I can dig it.

Much to my surprise, this is not a bad version of a great Led Zep song. Never thought much of these guys previously; will have to reconsider.
I hadn't thought much of them either, maybe I shouldn't be so quick to judge.

It is a good interpretation but the guitar on Led Zeppelins is sooo incredible, just picture lisyening to that track on the early seventies for the first time...Play the Led Zep version too please
One of the better covers of a Zep song.......
At first, I thought this was Eric Clapton singing. I've never heard the resemblance with him and BHT before! Wow.

Cool, I'll give you. As good as the original? Maybe I could buy it. Better? Definitely not!
nice, i have liked most everything i have heard of these guys one of those bands who have been around a long time, but unfortunately never quite get much attention
I dig this song, these guys absolutely get it done and have for years. The good and bad news is that most of the world doesn't notice!
Very cool. As good as the original. Perhaps even better?
good cover!
Solid cover. (pimp)
Great playlist!
Decent cover.
Well I have been listening on and off all day today and this is the only song today that strikes me enough to have to say something about it. What was I going to say... :p Oh yeah, I like many BHT&M songs. I also listened to as much Led Zeppelin as I could when I was younger and this was one of my favorites songs. I'm impressed and it fits them well.
Mmmm, a tasty Zeppelin set. When this came on, and before I realised what song it was, I thought it might have been the Zeppelin guys themselves....
nice cover...
Te repites mas que el chorizo You repeat yourself more than the salami
this is really good. i think the original was just as rootsy as this one. and i\'m pretty sure there was a pedal steel in that one also.

Totally agree, they made it their own.
aiiiiiieee!!! this just ain't right! but the strength of the song itself does manage to carry this version.
As a huge Zeppelin fan... I agree with the others. This is a bit different... and very nice in it\'s own way.

love this version... Don\'t really care about if the original is better or not; I just enjoy this, that\'s what counts. I like the way BHTM turned this into a groovin\' electric song too, they did that really well IMO.
