Voodoo Lady
Shakin' that stick and drivin' me crazy
Your eyes are red and hazy
Doin' that stuff that you do
Messin' me up wit your voodoo
You drive me crazy with that
Boogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie
You drive me crazy with that
Boogie boogie boogie
Your lips are hot and spicy
Servin' up red beans and rice
At midnite she's a' howlin' and stompin'
Makin' love to the gators in the swampin'
You drive me crazy with that
Boogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie
You drive me crazy with that
Boogie boogie boogie
I feel you now inside me
Never once did you deny me
Doin' that stuff that you do
Knockin' me out with your voodoo
You drive me crazy with that
Boogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie oogie
You drive me crazy with that
Boogie boogie boogie

This album version is OK, but live it friggin ROCKS! There's a version from The Catalyst in Santa Cruz on 27 Sep 2003 that just SMOKES - the guitar solo will leave craters in your face!
One of the greatest things about Ween is their ability to put their foot in just about any genre of music and either make it their own or completely mock it viciously. I've heard Ween do everything from traditional country style music to something you would have sworn Motorhead wrote and performed. Sure, a lot of their stuff is weirder than a 3-eyed giant pygmy hamster astronaut, but even that can be cool in the right frame of mind.
SO not in the mood for anything with "boogie-oogie-oogie" in it. Not rating it, but maybe on another day, I'll be able to dance to this. Just not today.
Nice! Great seque from Fools Gold, too!
This was of the first songs I heard on RP since I started listening regularly - and worked for me then and now too!

Excellent assessment. Always a GREAT live show.
Output from these guys is wildly uneven, but commendably unpredictable.

You either love the huge molasses cookie or you hate it. And watch out for the wandering eye...! <0 >
Swing and a miss from me... Sorry — it just doesn't do it for me.
Is he going to boogie-oogie-oogie 'til he just can't boogie no more?
(The mental picture I always get from the phrase "boogie-oogie-oogie 'til you just can't boogie no more" is of a leisure-suited man with gold chains collapsed in a pathetic heap on the disco floor, sobbing helplessly. He looks up at his dance partner with sorrow in his eyes. "I'm sorry . . . I can't do it . . . I can't boogie any more. I'm not strong enough.")

No matter how hard you stare, it's still only a static image.

Awesome transition from Aint Superstitious.
Awesome song, awesome band! Keep up the good work RP.
Boognish
Glad RP is playing this.
Is this song playing in \"Dude, Where\'s My Car\" right the beginning of the chinese food scene?
I have an mp3 of that scene and right at the beginning is a short snippet of a song that this reminded me of...
A crowd pleasing group with talent to waste...I\'ve been to three concerts and have yet to make it to the final song which always extended to the wee(n) hours.
Back in high school my best friend and I had a favorite music store -- a hole-in-the-wall downtown that sold bootleg concerts, old vinyl, and plenty of stuff for 50 cents. Our time there were usually spend rooting through piles of vinyl and pining over the expensive rarities, but occasionally a great buy was found. One particular day my friend found one such gold nugget in the 50 cents bin: a 2 CD promotional set called Certain Damage. Since he found it first, he had dibs (a fact I still begrudge him) and bought it even though we recognized only 1 artist (Radiohead) out of about 25. We got back to his place and this song was the first track. It was just hilarious and not at all what we were expecting. We must have played it 10 times in a row, laughing to tears each time. That memory alone is worth 50 cents.
Fun. I like it. Nice to hear some Ween other than The Flutes of the Chi which I\'m getting really getting sick of hearing.
Fun! Heard this years ago and never knew who it was.
:D :D :D
excellent indeed
Excellent.
