Can you say goodbye, without ever leaving?
That's some sad soul to keep
Amanda awakes in a moment believing
She's better off staying asleep
So she drives by the station
Imagining somewhere
Sings a slow slow song
Now she's waiting at the stoplights
With no where to go
But in our town there's just one stoplight
Oh I wish she would know
There's a world outside her window
Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere's Amanda's dream
She sits late at night by the light of a candle
Her wishes that never come true
Her hope gets so high they're too hard to handle
She stares as they fade out of view
And these song words have led her to nowhere
Cept a slow slow song
Now she's waiting at the stoplights
With no where to go
But in our town there's just one stoplight
Oh I wish she would know
There's a world outside her window
Anywhere the wind blows
Anywhere's Amanda's dream
Well she sleeps like a girl
But she wakes like a woman
She sleeps like a girl
But she wakes like a woman
Like a woman
Waitin at the stoplights with nowhere to go
But in our town there's just one stoplight
I wish she would know
There's a world outside her window
Anywhere the wind blows

I agree... this is pretty weak.

Oh, that is nice! I know it shouldn't matter but it does make it easier for me to enjoy music when it is made by good people.
:)

Didn't know that Bill would play something like this. I guess Mr. Lassen is popular in the USA, nice indeed :)

Beautiful song. Nice mix of sounds.
I like it too. Kinda feel like I'm floating between a Paul Simon and......hmmm....maybe a James Taylor song.
surprised this song rated so poorly so far, i really like it
very nice
this sounds like it could be in some sort of crappy modern annie like musical . . .
That about sums it up.
I can\'t help myself, but this song reminds me of that unlucky soccer match against the Faroe Islands on June 12...
How can I miss you when you won\'t go away?
I uploaded this song for Bill to review - Thanks, Bill for adding it! The song is from Teitur\'s new CD \"Poetry and Airplanes\", which is quite gorgeous. His name is pronounced \"Tie-tor\" and he\'s from the Faroe Islands. I hope you all enjoy!
