I cannot say why, but I like this.

Keep the tune, ditch the morose babe reciting insipid lyrics.
Exactly the words I was looking for...a 2 as is, would be at least a 5 without the vocals, because I do like the music. Just not the talking.

Soma is also the "perfect" drug in Aldous Huxley's Brave New World. See (click here).
Having just read "Brave New World" I actually recognised that alot of the lyrics are taken directly from the text.
Excellent book, by the way, for those of you into reading stories about wayward attempts at utopian societies...i.e. 1984
In ancient times, hundreds of years before the dawn of history, there lived an ancient race of people... the Druids. No one knows who they were or what they were doing..
Not to sure yet about this one, first time hearing it. I do like the organ and the music in general is pretty good. As for her, not to sure. I think this one will require a few more listens for me to be able to really appreciate it.

:-s
Freakin' love this song.
OK, interesting exercise... Sing allong using "Puttin on the Ritz"
"If you're blue and you don't know where to go to
Why don't you go where Fashion sits
Puttin' on the ritz"
Sounds pretty weird eh? But much more bouncy :D
it is soooo euro.
Pass the cheese.....

She lost me with the "dripping patchouli."
That organ sound...
If you're blue and you don't know where to go to
Why don't you go where fashion sits...
Wonderfully creepy
Booooooooorrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnggggggg!!!!!!!!!!!
Oooooooooooooooooookay.
Hard to take this kind of prentension seriously when Patti Smith does pretentious so much better. Slight production, horrible harmonizing, and those lyrics... "I am you, and you are I."
It's not bad. But we can do better.
Trippy.
Smooth yet powerful-I like.

If I worked in an office by myself, I'd follow the lead of Patrick in Columbia, MO - three glasses of wine and sit in my underwear, listening to this! Coding might be a little sloppy, though.
BTW, I agree, sounds more like Air than Enigma. I like it muchly!
A disc from the Waveform Records indie label. Some pretty cool ambient/trippy/electronic stuff... Urchin has a great album there...

Propanga? Enigma? Nah, just annoying-a.

Sharing it with the rest of us however is against the rules. ;)

Now is the time on Sprokets when we dance!

"A gramme is better than a damn." Need more be said? :meditate.gif:
My upload. For those who want to own this song, here's a link to the excellent CD from which I obtained it: (click here)
Note that this version comes from the original CD, not the remixed "Version 2.0" that was released in 2000. I have no idea what that new version sounds like.
jaw dropping
now all i have to find this
thanks RP :)
Wow! Where did this come from? This is a great selection to wake up to (here on the East Coast of the US).
In the words of Oliver, "Please sir, may I have some more?"

Listening to this song is like shampooing with glitter.
I like the spoken bit about the trips that can be had for various dosages.
Nice flow! Me like! :nodhead:
