So you have been of use
And you have been abused

You know you look pale today
Your lipstick has gone astray

You sold out and lost your looks
You gave away all your books

(You should drown with me)

Your coil has been wound up tight
Unwind it with me tonight

(You should drown with me)

Tire tracks fresh on the ground
Where she will be found
Held under the water
Resting there in a stream
View from the cold water
Buried in green
Orange filter sky

You're drowning in family there
When will you come up for air?

(You should drown with me)

Your coil has been wound up tight
Unwind it with me tonight

(You should drown with me)

Tire tracks fresh on the ground
Where she will be found
Held under the water
Resting there in a stream
View from the cold water
Buried in green
Orange filter sky

Should be played more.
Never heard this one until now...excellent! More rotation on RP relative to other PT songs would be nice (but not overdone!)....

I was wondering about that '1' vote myself. Since Bill hasn't played the tune, my guess is it's probably someone who hates PT and just went through and rated all of their songs in the library with a '1' - kind of an ass-bag move if you ask me.

There ya go neckbone, adib - just gave it a 10 to boost the average. Magnificent piece (and I PSD'd - so glad this came up to replace the drudgery that is U2)

I think so too.

I can't figure out why Bill never plays it.

What a fabulous song! Too bad it didn't make it on "In Absentia," but it was a highlight of the PT show in Anaheim recently. Please play!

SW has always said that ommiting this song from IA is one of his only regrets as far as the final song choices for PT's albums go. He knows he dropped the ball on this one and it has come back to haunt him like 1000 times..

I've never really cared for "The Creator Has a Mastertape", I would love to have DWM on IA instead of that one.

Wedding Nails (great title, but a very generic "headbanging" Rock instrumental) wouldn't be greatly missed by me either.

Drown with Me kicks the shit out of either of those songs  {#Bounce}

One of my favorites and perfect for Radio Paradise.

Just awesome... I can't thank RP enough for introducing me to Porcupine Tree. I would (seriously) be interested to know what the person that gave this a '1' has as a constructive criticism - I just can not find a fault with this. Great singing/harmonies, interesting rhythm and chord progressions, *superb* production, superb musicianship, thoughtful and interesting lyrics... what can possibly be wrong?

Just checking in to add another vote to the "please play this song" pile.

I stopped by to add it to the LRC, only to find that it's already here, and never been played.
Bill please play this song!!   It's so gorgeous  {#Guitarist}
Listening to my own music and thinking: man, this is this one of PT's best, and one of several tracks that make In Absentia one of PT's best efforts if not THE best effort to date. Should play more In My Extremely Partisan Opinion.
One of my favorite PT songs too. I wish Bill would play it- it's a slightly rare track and I think a lot of the PT fans would love to have a chance to hear it

The song says "PLAY ME"!!!

One of my favorite Tree songs. It deserves a play on RP.
