Translation:

From Cabinda to Cunene
Good parties from door to door
A smile on the face full of happiness
A smile on the face full of happiness

Carnaval at the Marginal
National festival
What a great and mortal day
What a great and mortal day

Peace of spirit for all
Peace in Angola that we all want
Peace of spirit for all
Peace in Angola that we all want

Beautiful country without equal
Without borders and without weariness
An ideal Angola
An ideal Angola

Fabulous atmosphere
Great and marvelous people
Of an amazing purity

Peace of spirit for all
Peace in Angola that we all want
Peace of spirit for all
Peace in Angola that we all want

I agree, highly mutable, protean even. The way the melody moves up and down as it sashays around the circle of fifths. Quite enjoyable.

I agree completely, this was painful to listen to. I perfer something more. Maybe if Id had 4 or 5 maitais in me itd be more enjoyable.. but then I dont think listening to it at work in that state would work out well.
