I think this is overdue for a play, not my fav group but it's worth more air time than once a year

HA! Funny! I agree!

meh. I gave it a 6 because she's actually singing instead of the breathy whisper crap that would have earned this a 2.

We had a docent at the zoo go off on us one time about Pandas. "They're not panda bears! They're just pandas! Not bears! Pandas!" Except she had this weird accent and called them "panders." Ten years later, it's still a family joke. We'll just randomly shout at each other "They're just panders!"
I love stories like that. Thank you.

At the risk of being petty, I am compelled to point out that Koalas are not bears, as the lyrics would suggest. Marsupials, yes - they have that cool pouch thing goin like the kanagas. Sorry, it's just one of my many pet-peeves. I did kinda like the song, but the whole Koala thing pretty much killed it for me.

Always a good thing

Hmmm, like a lot of their other stuff, but this one isn't doing it for me...

there's already those guys from indigo
Blech.
What a nice surprise to hear a little T&S on here. First time for me, and a few tracks I submitted got denied a while back.
Saw them open for an acoustic Ryan Adams show a few years ago. Love their songs and they are wonderful live.

Yup--just roll one on its back and see if it can right itself...
Fresh, fun & foot tappin, gorgeous!
They are playing at Neil Young's acoustic Bridge School Benefit on Oct. 27 and 28.
This year's line-up:
Neil Young
Metallica
Jerry Lee Lewis
My Morning Jacket (Eddie Vedder had to cancel)
Tom Waits and Kronos Quartet
John Mayer
Tegan & Sara
Regina Spektor

The vocals remind me a bit of Ani DiFranco (which is a good thing in my book). Haven't thought that with other Tegan and Sara songs.
I had to check to see if Ani had done something new, I do like this song. I'll have to check some more of their stuff.

Exactly what I thought! But is it true they've given a farewell tour and aren't going to record together any longer? That's what I heard.
Not that I know of. They'll be out touring this summer in support of they're new album The Con (release date 7/24). Some of the new songs are posted on their myspace page (click here).
I had no idea this album existed?!

wow- haven't heard this before - fun - great-
It's a shitty time to learn to swim when yer shoulder high in shit and your water-wings are flat.
PS has outdone him/herself again...
I like the song "walking with a ghost".
I think it's by T&S?

Neither are Pandae. In fact, there are no "bears" as a kind of animal, they are all similar species from other genera. The common grizzly is actually a kind of turtle.
Sounds like forced anger vocals.
Forgive me for quoting myself, but...
Upon further review, I find several things annoying in this song. It would make a good cover toon for a teen-angst / romance TV drama.

anyone heard the dutch group anouk (with their famous song "nobody's wife")
this vocals remind me of that vocalist.
This is T&S?!? Very cool!
Digging this.

It's not annoying, but just isn't my cup of tea.
Yay for Tegan & Sarah!! That's awesome, thanks RP!
I saw them in Chicago last year and it was a great show, funny as well because they were having some sisterly bickering between sets. (They're twins.)
First time I've heard them.
- but nice surprise. They sound sexy, original and they have real intensity & attack. 7-8.

I'm so glad to hear someone else thinks this! I keep hearing a little Aniness in these vocals every time i hear it! Pretty good stuff
The whole album is pretty Ani-ish. I have it, it's pretty good.
They really got away from that in both there albums after this one, though.

Great Song!!!! I LOVE the way the vocalist belts out the "promise me you'll always stay" verses.
Good lyrics!
hey this is kinda cool :D
The girls are pretty attractive females too

Much better than that one that was getting overplayed a week ago, maybe these girls are more than just pop crap after all.
Wearin' me ahyyout!

Did I hear Bill say "Tay-gun?" It's Tee-gun and Sara..

I haven't really given these two much a chance, but this song is going to force me into looking deeper. Nice.
This is not bad, but not as good as their other tracks on RP, which I really like.
WOW! I haven't heard this in years -- I'd forgotten how much I liked these girls. My local station back in NJ used to play this track quite a bit back in 2000, or maybe 2001? I grew to love it back then -- more please!
hmm... i kind of like this.
I am so happy to see that Tegan and Sara have made it to Radio Paradise. You know you've made it when....
They are from my area and won a competition at their high school only a few years ago. I first saw them at a folk festival - just them and their guitars. Since then they have released a couple of albums and toured with the likes of Neil Young. Thier debut album Under Feet Like Ours contains some of the same tracks put out on their folow-up album. I prefer the raw sound of that first album.
I think we'll be hearing a lot from themin the future.
Excellent stuff from my home town of Calgary! While they're still young they've already got a number of great albums out. They've had a few songs from their So Jealous album on the new TV show Grey's Anatomy.

10 years?
