One of the things I hate most about US FM radio turning into a monopoly is the demise of album-oriented rock, especially with ANY current rock being made.

I will cry like a baby when Kate Bush departs this earth. She has been part of my life since 11 (40 yrs!) and she has enriched it immeasurably. Long live KB... and RP!

I liked this song at first but it hasn't held up for me as much as other songs from Aerial. On my first listen to disc 1, I thought she'd lost her mind - really couldn't warm up to much of it. But Pi has grown on me and I now love it. Kate:

This is different. I really, really actively dislike this song, and am even more befuddled as to what on earth everyone else sees in it.

Some wonderful tracks on this double disc - definitely worth exploring!

I am a huge Bush (Kate) fan, but even still I have to admit this is one of my least favorite songs. Usually I skip when listening to the album. Of course with that said, I wouldn't say it's a bad song. Just not one of my favorites.

she truly is an artist though, I doubt she's anything but proud of her work. She likes to push the envelope and be a little dramatic, it's her thing.

Both discs? I admit it is taking some time for the Sky disc to grow on me, but I quite like the Sea disc (which this is on). It was really nice on a recent road trip.

Took a long time to grow on me, but now it's gotten there.
Side note....Mars will be as close to earth as possible Aug 27 2006 at 11:00pm pacific standard time. This has not happened in 60 million years and will not come this close again for another 60 million years. This is a once in a lifetime event.

Her screams are more a function of willfulness than lack of control, so listen again and enjoy someone diverting themselves with their own practiced gift.

Seriously, this is they way it sounds on the CD. It's a wonderful track, and completely unlike any other track on the album. It was actually recorded about 9 years ago, according to Kate.
Is there some sort of weird echo effect on this playback, or am I having aural hallucinations? 
This is such a great album. I wasn't a huge Kate fan in the 70's and 80's, but this one really surprised me. It's balanced, beautiful and surprising. And mercifully free of high pitched squeals :)
