I vote Danny Kirwan
46 years after that album came out...and that Mick Fleetwood photo still causes me to grimace.

That's what you call an iconic album cover.
Awesome song. I tried learning it on guitar. It's HARD. Crazy hand stretching and barres. My hand hurts a little thinking of it.
Go Lindsey👍

Fleetwood Mac is not Fleetwood Mac without Lindsey Buckingham.

Uh, no. It's a different band. If you're a diehard of one era only, then he isn't. FM has had quite a few top notch guitarists. Green and Buckingham were/are both great in their own ways. And that's no slight to Welch, Spencer, Kirwan etc.

If anything, Fleetwood Mac is not FM without the rhythm section that makes up the name.
RIP Christine

Amazing picking on this. To get an idea of how difficult this is, check out this video by Paul Davids

I had always thought this was a really good guitar duo, but it's just Lindsey B and his guitar. What impresses me is all of the harmonics that he's getting from just the single guitar. Must be one amazing wooden box for that kind of tone.

And he doesn't use picks.  Great player, that Lindsey.

This remastered version sounds SO different! All the little nuances of the guitar. I don't actually prefer it, but it's very interesting to hear. Is it all guitar? Sounds like guitar + autoharp.

Fleetwood Mac was a completely different but still very excellent Fleetwood Mac long before Lindsey Buckingham. We have Peter Green to thank for that.

Last I checked, most of the pre Buckingham/Nick Fleetwood Mac albums were still available so you can put the razor blades and cyanide away for now.

Two different era's which can be appreciated in their own right. Not sure I can buy into the third era without LB

Yes I long for the Fleetwood Mac without Buckingham and Nicks.

That's true, but Neil Finn is pretty awesome!
2'30 into a 2'48 piece and I'm still waiting for the vocals to come in. Duh.

I always thought this was a really nice guitar duet .. until I looked into it, and discovered it's just one guitar, one player. :O Too much. So good.

That's what finger picking does - it sounds too much to be coming from one player and one guitar.
Lindsay Buckingham is an underappreciated guitar god!

Christie McVie - the real voice of FM!

Great piece but it's not the song on the album  - which is fine by the way since this guitar picking always makes my day

Is this a tribute to Lindsey Buckingham, who turned 64 yesterday?  One more year, and it'll be mandatory retirement, right Linds?
Sublime.....{#Good-vibes}
the guitar here is just absolutely beautiful!!... miss these guys.. they were good!

I was fairly stunned and confused when this came on. A mix that I'd never heard, and sans vocals, at that. This was not on the album. Was it a B-side of a single?? Never heard this version before. Wow.

Its from the remastered album which has alternate takes.

Worth getting if you liked the album enough to buy it the first time around.

Something in the tune sounds different than the original...  Aside from the missing singer...
Like the original better, but 7 nevertheless.
