Voodoo warning
Is calling
Down in limbo
Moonlight lush life
Bears strange fruit
Down in limbo
Come with me now
A moth to a flame
You never get near enough
You try again
Closer now
Oh how we dance
The spirit holding us
In a trance
Bamboo dancer
No stranger
Down in limbo
Can you tango?
Takes two to
Down in limbo
You are the one
Now is the time
Let your memory beat the drum
On the street car line
Voodoo warning
Is calling
Down in limbo
Moonlight lush life
Bears strange fruit
Down in limbo
Creole tattoo
I buy you
Down in limbo
Heartbeat you mistreat
I owe you
Down in limbo

Most 80's music did suck,(and I speak as a child of the time, WFNX Boston rocked then). Ferry's voice is very good, BUT! this song sure is a solid "3" by my rating, (ho-hum as they sei). Could it be the production style of the time. I would love to hear "Avalon"once more. (shall I buy it from iTunes) Grantus wrote:

Ja, agree. This time is the proof of adapted yuppy crap. But: he adapted it in his own translation. So leave it or love it was/is your choice, only. And so I compromised.

I never heard this song before. Maybe not one of his best, but still a Good Tune.  Thanx RP

Good thing the disc's copy controlled or it might breed and make more of this boring crud. If Howard Jones' work from the 80's were sung while yawning, that would define most of Bryan Ferry's stuff. Ho hum, for sure.

Yeah, sounds dated, but. . .I have some good memories to this "dated" stuff that's worth a good mischevious smirk or three. Ferry's voice is amazing. Put on Avalon for a lover sometime and tell me it's not so.
God how that 80's production is outdated. One thing is the choice of sounds, I can live with tha, but the unmotivated disguise of a poor tune in a blur of misc. effects makes me wanna sue Yes for ever releasing "Owner of a lonely heart"
Close enough, Rohan and Shemp. Yes. Shemp. As Steward of Rohan. I seriously need help.
Bryan Ferry & Roxy Music are proof that a lot of 70s music didn't suck
Wow! What a pleasant surprise! This was the very first Bryan Ferry compact disc I bought, back in 87!
