Anyone else mistake the opening as something by The Decemberists?

This track sounds a lot like "My chrysalis highwayman" by Mark Morgan.

Loreena and my celtic origins are a good way to say : Since maybe around 13-14 years, i listen to RP. Some days of my life, i stopped and always returned. Sometime i psd because my day is in stress and i can't listen quiet attentively. Sometime it's awesome and fit perfect with my mood. Sometime, an artist i don't love surprises me good and as so many listeners, i discover also. Tonight is christmas without my family for me in France. I'm not alone because all magic is here with RP. Thank you RP. Merry X-Mas and long live.

I had to look up Game of Thrones on the Wiki. OK. I've had this particular album since it was issued. It sits inside the CD playing on my car and is used to lull me away from momentary disasters of Road Rage, wherein I would ordinarily be ramming into slow driving soccer moms driving erratically whilst chattering on cell phones with little Moppet, Muffin and Young Chad in the back seats whining, cavorting, and otherwise creating an invisible haze of chaos inside the vehicle. Poor kids don't known that Mommie has her electric ben-wah balls securely in place and running directly from the main 600 amp battery of the gas guzzling behemoth. NO, the tracks herein permit me to gently avoid my Rush of Divine Wind as I drive into the Battleship-like Goliath spewing carbon, smoke and Gore. Amen.
Isn't that a lot of power for mere ben wah balls, MisterF? AA batteries might be a lot more convenient.
I suppose we should thank Loreena for keeping you from harshing Mom's vibe...

Yes, I own the Lord of the Rings soundtrack. It's only one of the finest musical scores in recent memory is all. Awesome is a word, however much a cliche, comes to mind.
As for this Loreena McKennit piece, uhh, it's derivative of something. The melody is from somewhere else. I'm getting brain frazzle trying to conjure where I've heard it before, like a name or fact that buzzes maddeningly just beyond one's ability to identify it. Surely someone else here has noticed this; what the hell is it?
