RP’s day of way too much Olde Time Music, seriously stuck in a not good time warp.
I will always associate this song with this scene.

No, it defenately was. Corey Haim was singing along to it though (Not well, I may add) so it was hard to distiguish.

Yea, it was that scene where Sam (Corey Haim) was in the bathtub right before Nanook (Sam's Dog) attacked Michael (Jason Patric). He was singing it, but the actual song was playing in the background. :)

anyone headin' to the DINER?
The Frogman is my main man. Excellent and thanks for playing this old time New Orleans son...

More music like this! It's good to hear the roots of the music we know and love today!

Unbelievable! And yet RP doesn't play Elvis.
What's up with that? Why no Elvis?
Have never liked this song.
Very sweet and tasty. More stuff like this plays well against the world music (which I love too).
Unbelievable! And yet RP doesn't play Elvis.

Just curious: do performers named 'Clarence' automatically get a nickname? Frogman, Gatemouth? c.

Can't blame the Frogman for that. I love this song in defiance of Limbaugh and all his ilk.
Right on. There are few things in this world I care less about than Mr. Limbaugh's opinions. Or taste in music. c.
Sing it, Frogman!

"The Greaseman" used to play/sing to this all the time on the radio in DC. Fun (in small doses).
and he's coming back now

Rush Limbaugh ruined this for me. He would play it when discussing the homeless.
That's just like that jerk to make fun of the homeless. (But of course, none of them are US military veterans, that's just a liberal myth.) He is SUCH an asshole.
Wow, that whole, "sing like a frog" thing gets old after just a few bars.
Fab! How many performers these days just let it all go like this!? Good on you, Frogman!

Awesome, I've never heard this on RP before!
Strieght out of Detroit!!! I love this song.
Had this on a set of LPs called "Cruisin' 19xx", which ran from around 1956 to the late 60s. Each LP recreated a half-hour of a radio show from that year, using a legendary DJ of the time. They included commercials of the time, community announcements, and the like. Great stuff.

Exactly!
This one is definately an acquired taste...I have not acuired this yet

You know I was just trying to think of the name of that movie this morning - filmed here in Santa Cruz and in a small weird connection to Rush Limbaugh, the home it was filmed in is now a wreck of a place where homeless people live. Scarier now than when vampires were there!
Yes! Excellent movie/sound track. Great fun oufason wrote:

I love this ole tune

Yeah. Lost Boys. That was a fun movie. Now Keifer is not lost. He's in the hooscow for 48 days.
I remember this song!
Git It Ooown!
= 8
saw him on a local show once with several of the N.O. oldies greats. Had a monster chip on his shoulder and was quite racist towards Frankie Ford. Seems he was fiscally raped like most of the artists of that period were. Of course, this is the same industry that is complaining that they "only" get 70% of the cost of a song sold on iTunes

Then why are you listening to Rush Limbaugh in the first place if you obviously don't like him?
listening to get things to blast him with by quoting them out of context, of course.

Great fun! Thanks, Bill, for mixing it up on RP! No complacency here, thankyouverymuch!

All I can think about is Cory Haim in the bathtub singing this in The Lost Boys.....
creative, to say the least ...
Was an 8....until the frog part.
