Oh it's just another day,
It's just another day on Earth

Oh it's just another day,
Just another day,
It's just another day on Earth

Oh it's just another day on Earth
It's just another day on Earth

One day, we will put it all behind,
We'll say, that was just another time,
We'll say, that was just another day on Earth

We'll say, that was just another time,
One day, we will put it all behind,
We'll say, that was just another day on Earth

Just another day,
It's just another day,
Oh it's just another day on Earth

It's just another day on Earth

I'm picturing Brian Eno and Philip Glass collaborating on a new version of this.  More minor chords and haunting arpeggios to reflect life in the 2020s.
A great, discreet gentleman who has done so much for my vonderous music.
just another groundhog day?

The picture reminds me at van Gogh's café one in Arles, France, at once.

You should try working or meditating to "Thursday Afternoon." It captures the perfect shimmering stillness of a quiet summer day, when naturing is gathering energy to last through the fall and winter.

Odd programming note: This got played within a half-hour of Eno-Byrnes' "Just Another Day."  Not RP's style normally...

So true! Thursday Afternoon was my go to study soundtrack all through grad school.
I have it on good authority Eno was up all night writing this.

Do you mean "Strange Overtones" by those two?
Eno is in his own league as a composer and producer. Nerve Net, a CD from 1992, is a terrific collection. It's still fresh and timely music.

Brian Eno is famous for 'ambient music', which can be either elegaic or tedious depending on your mood and location. This song might be spot on in a darkened room with a spliff in hand and beer on the table when you can drift away into the ether, but when you're straight and at work it's an aural Valium {#Sleep}

Sublime track.
My new mantra
10, just for playing Eno... 😊

Can't agree more!

Hey! I'm dying and this is a great song to go along with that theme. https://www.facebook.com/RobertDyingWithDignity

Alright, alright, ALRIGHT, it's just another day! I get it! How about another song? :)
This is a boring song...But it's Brian Eno, and he does whatever he wants...

... and this is just another song on Earth. (-yawn-)
Why does this remind me of the group 801. The Listen Now (vinyl LP) with Phil Manzanera is a classic. Oh yeah, Eno had his creative fingers in that one too. Just bought the CD from Amazon. Can't wait to get it. Thanks RP for awakening my memories of music past.
As my best friend in High School and I always said,

It's good to listen to Eno till it hurts.

We were certifiable back in those days.      {#Bounce}

And if you don't understand the listen till it hurts, you don't know Eno...

Perfect song... 24 days on the stage, show is over. {#Flamed}
More Eno for sure!
Anything he is involved with is bound to be creative and interesting.
Right on!
I love Eno. Roxy Music, movie soundtracks (For All Mankind is one of the best scores ever) and his eclectic solo efforts, like Nerve Net, and the music he made with his brother, Roger, have been consistently good. He experiments and goes for it. Plus, of course, he's a great record producer.
This is making me feel sad.
i'm not sure I like that.
This guy's pretty good. Might have a good career ahead of him...
This is IMHO, one of Eno's best albums.
