Ack! You are 93% of a great AAA radio station, but you have to shoot yourself in the foot with WorldMusic wailing songs every freaking day. I keep trying to give you another chance, and you keep chasing me away. Yikes!

Why don’t you just leave then

Perhaps you need to be more specific?

There is a lot of beautiful music out there - but it doesn't get much more beautiful and soulful than this.
Beautiful Soul...

Yeah I was just reading in Reddit last night from several people who quit their jobs over constant garbage on the radio, day in and day out -- the same songs over and over.  The effect of bad music on morale is definitely not trivial.

I'm sitting at my desk with ear plugs in paying my bills when through the plugs I hear what sounds like Persian music.  I'm thinking to myself WTF?  Radio Paradise playing Persian music!?  Being Persian myself, I am pleasantly surprised {#Laughing}  Way to go, Bill!  {#Cheers}
This is a good primer for the Mehregan festival I will be attending tomorrow.
From me 7 - Quite Likeable
Love this tune, her voice and the backing music are well intertwined.

I love the atmospheric string instruments, and hearing the way she sings those heartfelt lyrics in Farsi is an exquisite treat. All Hail RP!
Someone is singing in some language other than English!

Quick, to the listener comments section to showcase my xenophobia!
{#Doh}
I love this song and having new international music like this on Radio Paradise is one of the biggest reasons that I subscribe.  Having old familiar songs that I haven't heard in a long time makes RP amazing but being surprised by a song by an artist that I've never heard before is a delight.  Keep it up.
I was just reading the comments on the previous song (Friends by LZ) and people complaining about not playing Celebration Song next since they segue together.

All is forgiven Bill, the segue into this one was perfect!  Seamless.  How do you think of this stuff?

Wow a'gin, how cool t'is so cold?

I'm going to assume that this is fantastic and it just goes over my head.  Musically, it's good.  Vocally, it's good.  I don't think the fact that it's not in English bothers me all that much.

Something just isn't clicking with me.
Thanks and have a nice day

It isn't that I'm somehow opposed to middle eastern music, but this does not have much appeal — the string fills are schmaltzy, the song sort of drags on without much punch to it... basically it's muzak.

I totally dig the flavor and vote for more middle east groove.  (My Amr Diab upload got bonged right out of the chute and I'm still stinging from that one).
The problem most people have with this music is that the beat is off of the tempo we are used to.  And that is classic middle eastern music, they follow the off beats, but they are still following a beat.  And honestly, they have some amazing music.  So get used to it, I hope we hear more of this.  I love it!!
