Does not quite hit the spot on a grey rainy day in Liverpool
Instant 7 when her vocals enter.
Sexy, ethereal, exotic and mysterious. Thanks to RP for introducing me to this album :)

You don't understand what she's saying
The music is foreign to your ears
Yet you find yourself swaying...

It is time for me to admit that in the past I have been unintentionally unfair to Middle Eastern artists. That said, I do have entirely Western life experience. This piece, however, is absolutely delightful as an understatement, and I'm not saying that just because that is an absolutely gorgeous young woman, but because the music and the voice touch my heart. I'd love to know what she is singing.
EXCELLENT! Thanx RP!
Beautiful, I shall investigate, thanks!

A decent analysis even though I disagree.
This is a shimmering, simmering delight.
Not that bad. Well produced. Can't say it is overproduced because the even style needs it... and the acoustic version of this song has, IMHO, nothing interesting to offer. But, at the end of the day, the whole track never does magic... like spicy tasteless food.
Nice for a soundtrack. Gave it a 6. I'm quite sure it will be a 5 next time.

Now, this I like. Reminds me of the holidays I spent in Egypt diving. Dahab, Sharm El Sheikh, Safaga.. boat dives.. clear skies.. relaxed company.. wonderful food and locals..

Funny to hear comments like this...When you grow up hearing Persian music it sounds perfectly normal but, yea...that's obviously not the norm I need to realize. Vocal control is pretty incredible compared with conventional Western music. All that's missing here is the dancing!
Dancing is right!

I'm trying to go to bed, I really am, but track after awesome track. Damn you RP, you wonderful thing.
Hypnotic, but to my ears lacks dynamic range.
Thank you Azam! Your music gets me into a flow ... love everything about it!
Beautiful.
Thanks RP
I've been a fan of Azam Ali since I heard her here, sounds great on a good sound system

We listen to RP in my drawing class and my students all love it! We get to hear a little bit of everything. jocelynsart wrote:
Must be awkward for the artists to have you shimmying in time to this!

I saw Niyaz about a year ago - a spectacular show. Azam Ali is a lovely soul.

Wishing some Persian speaker out there would translate this....
I love the bass line. Would sound right at home next to any track off Massive Attack's Mezzanine.

I would understand this comment (and it's 36 likes?) if it was from @potus but not RP
