If we could, would we or should we? It would save hundreds of thousands of lives from earthquakes. But it would be tough to stop continental drift.

I just drove across the North American Plate from the Pacific Plate this morning.
You see, My son lives across the valley from me on the North American.
I live on the south side on the Pacific.
