When you're screaming in my ear
What's the point of it?
When you're sure no one can hear
Or none that you'll admit
Say that we're afraid
Say that we were wrong
Maybe that's okay
If we're not so strong
That's the point of it
When you choose to hide your eyes
Take me out of here
Finding comfort in our life
Before it disappears
Say that we're afraid
Say that we're not the ones
Maybe that's okay
If we're not so young
That's the point of it
When I'm standing next to you
That's the point of it
When there's no one but us two
That's the point of it
Say that we're afraid
Say the night is cold
Honey, that's okay
If we're getting old
If we're not so strong
If our story's told
That's the point of being loved
What's the point of it?
When you're sure no one can hear
Or none that you'll admit
Say that we're afraid
Say that we were wrong
Maybe that's okay
If we're not so strong
That's the point of it
When you choose to hide your eyes
Take me out of here
Finding comfort in our life
Before it disappears
Say that we're afraid
Say that we're not the ones
Maybe that's okay
If we're not so young
That's the point of it
When I'm standing next to you
That's the point of it
When there's no one but us two
That's the point of it
Say that we're afraid
Say the night is cold
Honey, that's okay
If we're getting old
If we're not so strong
If our story's told
That's the point of being loved

very soothing and surreal on this celestial and stormy night..
I am questioning the production of this song. Vocal track needs to be a bit more prominent me thinks.

Hasn't improved in the last 6 months either. Let's look on the bright side, perhaps many people have had surgery with none of the usual anaesthetic hangovers.
More soporific than a bottle of extra-strength Dreamy Sleepy Nighty Snoozie-snooze. This song could be used as an anaesthetic for open-heart surgery

Sirdroseph...dont you agree that if we dont pay our performartists they wont be able to provide our ears with our most needed wonderful music?
This album was in rotation on my favorite local station when it first came out, I liked what I heard of it. Will have to give the songs they didn't play a listen too sometime. May even buy a few.

Everybody in my mushrooming multitude of churches loves this song...

How is this album overall?
I like YLT a lot, I'd say I am a fan. You can always count on them for quality music. That said, they don't really hit it out of the park very often. Maybe a bit too predictable? Maybe they need to take more risks?

If we’re not so young
That’s the point of it...
If we’re getting old
If we’re not so strong
If our story’s told
That’s the point of being loved.
