Yeah! I like the very Greek touch on the strings, and there's a lot of tasty Middle Eastern flair in there, too...
Very well stated!I I Agree with everything you just said! Thanx RP!
Nice segue from Beatles' "Things we said today". It was a perfect BPM match. Yay DJ!
Did again today about a year later. I can confirm it was really smooth.
The song is too bland for my taste. It could work better as a film/TV score where you only hear small segments at a time, but as a whole I found it dreary. All the performances are good, especially the guitar! But each individual part is drowned in the tacky "massage studio atmosphere" production soup. The melody doesn't make me feel anything, and the song just keeps going without any noticable development. Other commenters have pointed out it borrows from some Mediterranean music. Maybe that did bring something novel, but it's incredibly diluted.
Edit: I wonder if the time of day matters? I.e. the Americans have RP playing on low as a lullaby, while for me it's the middle of the day and I require some stimulation.
Well, at least you listened to it in it's entirety. Maybe it will grow on you. ...coffee might help. IDK. I think it is a GREAT TUNE!! Thanx RP
