Reminds me of another great also german-speaking Duo, but from Austria -> Kruder & Dorfmeister
Very much enjoy Radio Paradise and appreciate the personal effort it must take to establish, maintain, and update this site. Since the update to the format this past year have noticed that most of the new samples, especially those dated 2023 to 2025 simply lack personal flair and rely heavily on sampling, repetition, and gimmickry.  The days of central studio recordings are gone and have been replaced by a keyboard in basement bedrooms. And so it goes. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Grandbrothers is a German-Swiss musical duo known for blurring the lines between electronic and acoustic music. The project began as an experimental endeavor focused solely on manipulating a grand piano but has since evolved to incorporate analog synthesizers, drum samples, and club-inspired rhythms. The DuoThe group is composed of:Erol Sarp: The pianist, who primarily focuses on playing the grand piano.Lukas Vogel: The engineer, whose interests are in the electronic and technical aspects, using a unique system of electromechanical hammers to push the instrument's sonic boundaries. They met while attending university in 2007 and formed Grandbrothers a few years later.

This is my first time hearing Grandbrothers, but i’m loving this. Along with GoGo Penguin, I’d add Portico Quartet. More, please!

You can find much more on the well-named Beyond channel.  Thanks RP!

Oooh, and The Vampires, too.
