Take your time now
Feel like standing still
Get your barings
Until

When the day is through
All you got to do is slowdown
When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown

Full of tension
'Cause you love the chase
You just need your
Own space

When the day is through
All you got to do is slowdown
When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown

when you had enough
Of the fastest stuff to slowdown
When you see from space
Must be a mess slowdown

When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown
When the day is here
All you got to do is slowdown

When it's hard out there
And you gonna bail, slowdown
You just seem sometimes
To forget your mind slowdown
Down down down down down

"gots to do"?  No thanks - I'm off.
That is I steadily like the '90s for. Loungy, laid back, philosophing about what's worth realy.
A little sun support it.

I  Agree!
Morcheba? Yes, thank you.  Ha! Oh, we have fun here.
Saw them live recently.  Skye's voice is a gift from the Gods.

I hear some overtones (undertones?) of Morcheeba in there as well. Smooooth...

Yes I've noticed this too, really annoying!! It keeps getting stuck on the Morcheba song and not playing.  If you click 'PSD' it works but you have to do this every time at the end of each track...{#Frustrated}

FROZEN MAIN PLAYER ALERT
everytime i see this band name i think of this song:

Misterbaby, you wouldn't say that if Skye Edwards was swaying in a slinky dress and singing this to you when you got home from work!

I found it ludicrous that they got rid of Skye Edwards (vocals). She received "a phone call from our manager saying that it was over."
They replaced her, but it wasn't the same. She's back with them now.

According to Bill's new submission system, UMN was rejected under the old submission system. Why I thought it was in here, I do not know. How I even came to know about it if not here, I also do not know. A puzzlement 'tis…

Wonderful band with a great singer!

The "Fragments of Freedom" album has about 2 cuts that get air time on RP, which is why I went out and spent my hard-earned sheckles on it (ok, only about $7 used), only to hear that those 2 RP plays were the only ones worth listening to more than twice.  The rest of the album:  Mehh....  Other very positive reviews built my hopes up far past what that album delivered — win some, lose some.

That said, I liked this cut.
awesome chill-out band. my friend introduced me to them way back, so glad he did.
Oh so very nice music I've heard on RP  "Traffic" "Moody blues" "talking heads", "steely Dan" . Greetings from Europe, earthlings..

We need more English music - less girls and less "Americana",

but no Floyd, Queen and Spanish virtuosists,

Excellent.

I totally thought this was PF as I listened from the other room! And I know PF!

It does sound like Gilmour's guitar "sound" - probably a Stratocaster, but the overall music has more of a "soul" sound than Floyd tended to have.
Perfect luchtime advice.
I totally thought this was PF as I listened from the other room! And I know PF!

The first few seconds of this song make me think it's Pink Floyd.

Great song to follow Massive Attack - seemless segue. This song is smooth, smoother than mercury on glass. 8 from the Nottingham jury.

Great mix for a gloomy, rainy and chilly December day ... {#Meditate}

She's not the loveliest looking woman I've seen, but that voice is sexy as all get out. With her voice, she would have little trouble seducing me (~_^)

Still in love with her voice and their music.

Soo Smooth, soo soothing.
Groovy....
Mmmmmmmore cheeba! I love their stuff.
Morcheeba is growing on me.. think i better keep an eye on them.. Nice, slow and chillin' stuff this :)
Nearly 100% IMHO, but doubtless the peak of this album is 'Way Beyond'. Ah...forget it...the whole album is marvelous.
Surprisingly, the next song is not "Anonymous Skulls" Thanks for changing it up on us :-)
These guys have been drinking a lot of Pink Floyd.

yep. and to me, no one sounds like morcheeba. live or otherwise. seeing them live was one of my favorite alltime shows.
I really like Morcheeba (late on a Friday night when I am chillin) but this isn't their best effort by far. On some songs the vocalist has some haunting dirges well worth listening too.

Agreed on both. I quite like Morcheeba's trippy vibe, but there are about a million other bands that sound as good.

I liked this - maybe it's the time of day, later in the evening. Smooth guitar.
That nice bit of guitar in the middle just saved this from being binned as a 3
Is there a factory in China producing these sound-alike CDs? Are we really moving toward a future when every song sung by male or female will sound exactly the same? Won't that be a boring world, boys and girls?
