Your paint dries, the canvas smiles,
with two eyes you lift yourself up.
Stroke your skin, there are teeth marks to be sure.
Maybe we're best close to the ground.
Maybe angels drag us down.
I wonder which part of this will leave the scar.

Dip your hands in colours
while the young night flutters in on you and
finger paint me pictures of all you see.
No matter what they say, you'll always be
faithfully dangerous, lost and lovely,
so beautiful to me.
I'm not too blind to see.

Red is blood. Black is sky.
White's the dove that longs to fly.
You set it free and it beats its wings in me.
It leaves us at a loss for words.
Is that me now in your arms?
We cradle together and fall down on our knees.

Let the whole world drift downstream.
We'll always be different.
Swim the silent slipstream inside of me.

The heart that beats is yours inside me.
Red is love. Black is night.
I'm drunk with angels taking flight.
The heart that beats is yours inside me.
The heart that beats is yours inside me.
The heart that beats is yours.

With this twisted brain on mine, this makes me think of sex bomb. And I'm aware that they're world aparts. Twisted.
LLRP
Tasty. Two new tunes that I'll definitely listen to again and a classic in the first three. I'll take that luck.
Living in Louisville KY, I have had to pleasure to see them several times, they are from Cincinnati, thus the name (neighborhood in northern Cinci)   She is beautiful, He is beautiful, They are beautiful.  And so is their music.  Go see them if you have the chance....

Wow William these Guys once opened up for the Cowboy Junkies, how did you find this? Always impressed with RP.
I like her voice
Ouch!  what was that?
Sounds a bit like Leigh Nash from Sixpence None The Richer.
My second-favorite artist of all time. I have everything they have ever done over the last 20 years. This song, however, I'm not much of a fan of.

Very, very bored. The first three words are 'Your paint dries'. Think I'll go and watch my paint dry.

Definitely a good dog, a very good dog. {#Clap}
Good Dog, Bad Dog, You know, I've had my share!

A few years ago when this CD (then called Good Dog Bad Dog The Home Recordings) had been out a while I talked to Karin Bergquist after a show about how much I loved it.  I was surprised that she considered it substandard.  I think the production values of the home-recorded tracks didn't meet their standards and they were looking forward to re-working the tracks.  I loved the warm ambience and naturalness of those tracks.  I've listened to the original versions A LOT.  I hope they haven't 'fixed' them up too much!

This is a great band who I discovered listening to a pretty good station in Akron. Love to hear more by them.
an excellent choice by one of my favorite bands, I am glad I get to see them many times a year. I am very happy that more people get to hear this great band.
This is so fantastic, one of my favorites of theirs, thanks for playing it, Bill!
This husband-wife team plus two are great entertainment in person.
Literary influences C.S. Lewis... wow that sets the bar pretty high!!!
like them very much a 6.0enidualc wrote:

New OTR for me and I love it!
This is the first time i've heard this band, and i gotta say i love it. Especially the vocals, but the instruments bounce off them perrfectly!

Listen to their new album, Drunkard's Prayer--good stuff. Very raw and real.
This is definitely their best song. I love it.
Delicious! Keep 'em coming, RP.
Her voice reminds me of Edie Brickell, and that's a good thing.
Ohio produces another fab band.
I like her voice...
