Pay attention boy, stop looking out the window
Well sorry sir, but I've learnt more of love by wondering where the wind blows
Truth be told
I wonder where I'd be if it hadn't been for daydreams
For the river flowing free just beyond the mainstream
Well on the 15th floor I bet you're wondering where the time goes
And beyond the flashing lights - it feels strange to think the grass grows slowly
Do you wonder where you'd be if you'd ever dared a daydream?
There's a river flowing free just beyond the Main Street

All the birds you never heard
All the words you'd say to her
All the birds you never heard
All the words you'd say to her
All the birds you never heard
All the words you'd say to her
All the birds you never heard
All the words you'd say to her

Do you wonder where you'd be if you'd ever dared a daydream?
Oh I wonder where I'd be if it hadn't been for daydreams

It's a Roo Panes kinda day. Need more.
One of the images used for this piece is not placed in correct orientation. It needs to be rotated for correct up side. It should look like a brown cliff with blue birds soaring over

Once seen, can't be unseen. Seems I'm a child too.

I'm getting a touch of Suzanne Vega
this is excellent!

you're not the only one. exactly what happened to me.

it's very, very nice. but i don't want to hear this every day, which is what is happening...keep it nice, play it once a month please. there's lots more music to be chosen.

Is the dyslexic idiot called Dr Spooner?

You  do realize this particular chord progression has been around so long it's practically public domain?
This tune moves me every time I hear it .  .  .

Greetings from darkest Dorsetshire.

This caught my ear. I thought it might be one of those early Floyd tracks (Grantchester Meadows-like era), and when i looked, i was gob-smack surprised to find it to be from a fella just down the road from here! That's never happened before.
Now i wanna hear it again...

Ha, from just down the road from me too, how about that.....I agree with your comments, looking out for him gigging somewhere soon.
I love the lyrics, but I'm not really jiving with the melody. Maybe after repeated listens? A lot of my favourite songs are ones I didn't "get" the first few listens.

True. If you wore the blue sports jacket school uniform it displayed your battle bona fides.

Very Coldplay. I thought it was.
Aren't they from Dorset too?

Hello Dr Spooner.
His close friends call him Poo Ranes
Nice song, but I'd like if it were a little less frequent in the current mix. I feel like I heard all 10 plays in the last 30 days.

But, I'd rather hear it 10 times than not at all..thanks as always, B&R.

Will have to look for that thanks

Ooh, I'm in Dorset too. I didn't realise he's from Wimborne. I used to live there. Worth giving a bump up to a local lad with a very nice song. 🙂

I like this. I've given it a rather mean seven, but on the right day it would be a strong nine, I suspect.

dumb poetry posing as lyrics, or vice versa.
Reminds me of Nick Drake.

Very nice, look forward to hearing more.
Had to stop what I was doing and double check that this wasn't new music from Noah and the Whale (it is not) - they are also worth checking out if you enjoyed this!
First play, and I like it. The lyrics remind me of when I was in my 20s, still figuring my place in the world and full of potential.
It's almost surreal to empty spaces for the Wiki info and a column of comments.
In on first play. I just want to write a comment on the first play, I think it is a lame song, so normally wouldn't comment.

New music! Cool. Now have to listen in to see if it is worth rating...
