Jesus, don't cry
You can rely on me, honey
You can combine anything you want
I'll be around
You were right about the stars
Each one is a setting sun
Tall buildings shake
Voices escape singing sad sad songs
Tuned to chords
Strung down your cheeks
Bitter melodies turning your orbit around
Don't cry
You can rely on me honey
You can come by any time you want
I'll be around
You were right about the stars
Each one is a setting sun
Tall buildings shake
Voices escape singing sad sad songs
Tuned to chords
Strung down your cheeks
Bitter melodies turning your orbit around
Voices whine
Skyscrapers are scraping together
Your voice is smoking
Last cigarettes are all you can get
Turning your orbit around
Our love
Our love
Our love is all we have
Our love
Our love is all of God's money
Everyone is a burning sun
Tall buildings shake
Voices escape singing sad sad songs
Tuned to chords
Strung down your cheeks
Bitter melodies turning your orbit around
Voices whine
Skyscrapers are scraping together
Your voice is smoking

Love this song, when Wilco sings it.

I love seeing the Wilco love in this thread. Jeff Tweedy is such a prolific and underrated songwriter. I'm surprised more people don't cover his songs. I'm liking this version quite a lot.
Great cover. Likely sacrilege but I might enjoy this >= to the original. Norah knocks it out of the park imo. And the way she sings "Skyscrapers are scraping together" gets me each time.

Jesus doesn't exist. What's the point?
Overplayed!
I'm guessing that's Norah on her Fender Mustang

Simply superb! Lovely treatment of a modern classic... And what fun it would be to be present at a backyard coffee and gossip session with the lasses in the photo!
Its good, but just not the same without the violin from the Wilco original.
I always thought it was just a brilliant song. I felt cradled by it taking the last bus home after late nights at the lab. But the cover doesn't move me as much, which probably confirms I'm a sucker for strings (which feature on the original arrangement). I wonder how it'd sound adding them back in.

I'm a big Wilco fan, but I have to admit that this version may be just as good as the original, if not better.

+1 to 8 so this one will play in 'My Favorites' and then my wife will hear it (which might prompt another +1?(
LLRP!!

Magnifique ballade
I dig the guitar riff as backup.
i was all set not to like this, because it's one of my favorite wilco songs.

Don't mind this at all. Probably go up from 7 after a couple more listens.

Norah...be still my beating heart....sigh...
Love Wilco - but Norah Jones can make anything sound sweet.
Nice .
Nice .
Nice cover.
This is a very difficult song to cover (kudos), so are Stevie Wonder songs
Pleasant surprise this morning. Caught my ear
Not a patch on the original but still a nice cover
A song I didn’t expect Norah to cover. Love her.
I am a big Wilco Fan. But this is a nice cover version. Rated it with a 7 at first listen. The original is a 9 for me! Long Live RP. Greetings from germany to Rebecca and Bill!
This is a yes for me! Love Norah's voice.

I'm enjoying this version. Still like Wilco's, but I like the vibe here.

I'll give it a shot. Very nice guitar with the melody and harmonies swirling around it. I could compare them (easily) to other singers but for now, I'll try not to prejudice others first hearing.
