Every time I hear this song I'm reminded of the band from 2007 'Battles' - for the life of me I can't figure out which song though.

That was a helluva band.  I remember seeing them on the Jools Holland show and was blown away.  They sort of reminded me of Mars Volta circa Deloused in the Comatorium, which I need to dig out and play.
Definitely a pinch of some Metheny in there. Great track!
Every time I hear this song it gets another point. Running out of points.
Another song that makes me wish for a 7.5 rating.
Not ready to go to 8 yet but i really like this.
I'm no dancer.  It's usual a pathetic display of rhythmic coordination and expression.  However, I could move the groove to this one.
And now I will slightly revise the song title and post that album title on my FB page.  We take our victories and digs at the establishment wherever we can get them, right?

This guy gets a 7 if for nothing more than the album title.

Totally agree. Or alligators. Tourons.

Maybe Atlas?  Fantastic song that.

horrible
I can hear this as the soundtrack to a Montage scene where Hepburn and Cary Grant dash about an "exotic" South American city, being all charming and funny.

Another first time hearing this track, here on RP or anywhere.  I like the music.  Terrific dance track and fun.  But like Akazungu (a great title or moniker in itself) says, that album title is an award winner.  Truly a metaphor or axiom for our times.

That has to be the best album name ever
This guy has some really interesting and unique stuff.

It feels like this track is on constantly.  It's a bit too noisy and jarring, and I have to PSD it every time.
This is grabbing  me. Will start at 7 and see if it becomes likeable or irritating.

Maybe no Wiki but there is a website and in English for all us non-Portuguese speakers. http://www.brunopernadas.com/

Same go for Crocodiles?
Its very peppy.

Maybe has to do with the parrots.

Glad to see that no one, at this point, has slapped a random 10 on this....

There now appear to be two random 10s slapped on there (not mine) . The title of the album earns a 7 all by itself ;-)

Brazilian perhaps?

Portugese, I believe
Wow. Totally digging this. Damn you, William and Alanna, for turning me on to yet another artist.

Where do you find these hidden gems? This song really made my morning today so I've upped my monthly contribution as a thank you. Keep up the incredible work William and Alanna!!!

I Agree!!  GREAT TUNE!!  I never heard of him before.  Thanx RP!

Once again dead can dance?
This song has the need to be in Wes Anderson's next film
This is a really interesting piece. Anyone know anything about the artist?
Love this!

starting at a 7. Fun tune
So - from the album cover- is the woman throwing the birds at the Crocodiles, or is it the other way around.....?    (or is that problem number 7?)
Zappa-esque. Love it.

3 weeks later and I see there are 2 "10" ratings, though I suspect neither was random. At this point there are still no "2" ratings, so there is that.

You jinx this, the orange-red done started the fill.
Interesting! RP rulz! As always...
Reminds me of early Flora Purim & Airto Moreira, like like like !
Geiler Sound!
First time hearing this delightful, upbeat track.  Very nice!
