I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love
But I can wait now
I'm on the telephone
And I am all alone
I'm on the telephone
And we're connected
[Chorus:]
I got such a lot of love
I wanna give it to you
I got such a lot of love
I wanna give it to you
I got such a lot of love
I wanna give it to you
And though we're far apart
You are here in my heart
And though we're far apart
You're part of me now
And after all the years
And after all the tears
And after all the tears
There's just the truth now
[Chorus]
Well, I'm hungry for your love
Hungry for your love
Well, I'm hungry, yeah, well, I'm hungry
For your love now
I love you in buckskin, yeah, yeah
I love you in buckskin, yeah, yeah
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
I love you now
I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love
But I can wait now
I'm on the telephone
And I am all alone
I'm on the telephone
And we're connected
[Chorus:]
I got such a lot of love
I wanna give it to you
I got such a lot of love
I wanna give it to you
I got such a lot of love
I wanna give it to you
And though we're far apart
You are here in my heart
And though we're far apart
You're part of me now
And after all the years
And after all the tears
And after all the tears
There's just the truth now
[Chorus]
Well, I'm hungry for your love
Hungry for your love
Well, I'm hungry, yeah, well, I'm hungry
For your love now
I love you in buckskin, yeah, yeah
I love you in buckskin, yeah, yeah
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you
I love you now
I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love
I'm hungry for your love

Happy birthday Van Morrison :)
Shame you never play any songs off his best album Veedon Fleece.
I saw Van at a private show in Boston. Maybe a couple hundred people. He played until the break of dawn. One of the best shows I've ever seen. And I'm an old dude. I have never seen one person jam on so many instruments. Not included in the "info" section: violin, accordion, lute, flute, squeezbox, harmonica, standup bass, piano, organ,... if it has been used on a modern stage, he didn't just played it, he owned it. Three days later, he played "Great Woods" he clearly hated the venue. So do I. His playing reflected it. I found myself telling every person who would listen, three nights ago, I saw a totally different artist.

No, he was doing some of that back in the Them days. But after the heights of Astral Weeks and Moondance this stuff is a bit of a letdown
Was this the beginning of his mumbling phase?

Agree. I particularly like No Guru No Method No Teacher, Poetic Champions Compose and The Healing Game - all rich in great tracks. Plus all those other tens of records. And "Listen to the Lion" - one of my favorite Van songs ever.
Wavelength wasn't available for a long time on CD - I see now the remaster costs $60. I need a new turntable.
just occurred to me that van really doesn't get played here often enough. seem to be a decent amount of tracks, but i just don't hear 'em much. could still use more - such an enormous catalogue. nice to hear this... i only have this on LP and haven't heard it in decades.

Surprise to hear this one here. good song but one of the weaker ones on this record. A rating of 6.
