I don't know what color your eyes are, baby
But your hair is long and brown
Your legs are strong, and you're so, so long
And you don't come from this town
My head is full of magic, baby
And I can't share this with you
The feel I'm on a cross again, lately
But there's nothing to do with you
I'm alive, huh, huh, so alive
I'm alive, huh, huh so alive
Your strut makes me crazy
Makes me see you more clearly
Oh, baby, now I can see you
Wish I could stop
Switch off the clock
Make it all happen for you
I'm alive, huh, huh, so alive
I'm alive, huh, huh so alive
I don't know what color your eyes are, baby
But your hair is long and brown
Your legs are strong, and you're so, so long
And you don't come from this town
My head is full of magic, baby
And I can't share this with you
The feel I'm on top again, baby
That's got everything to do with you
I'm alive, huh, huh, so alive

Excellent!! I haven't heard this in a long time. Better now in FLAC w/ great phones, amp & DAC. Thanx RP!
The song that's played at the end of the movie FX. Great tune.
Love it
I'm surprised this song gets such high ratings. Way overplayed back in the day and I still can't listen to it.

Now if I only had a convertible with a good stereo in a summer day on a twisty road
I keep hearing echoes of T Rex.
gotta love that beat..

Maybe someone wrote this before, but ROXETTE really want their song back. Even if it's not one of their better ones.

This song has not aged well, for me.
"Love and Rockets" -- Is the band name an homage to the Hernandez bros.' comic strip?

I remember them saying in some interview that they needed a hit now to keep funding their musical adventures - sort of like Peter Gabiel and Sledgehammer. So they looked at the pop hits of the time, figured out common threads, made a formula, and then swallowed their pride and went to the studio and popped this off in 2 hours. They were right - it got noticed and they sold a bunch of records. And their true fans got alienated and they were soon mostly forgotten about.
I have to admit though, it is catchy.
Don't get this one

This one still does it for me. Just told my office mate that I'll turn it down when the song is over!

Not a T Rex clone, even if he sounds a bit bolany.

When the drum sequence started I was totally expecting Toad The Wet Sprocket's "All I Want". Would be interesting to hear that one on Radio Paradise.

Again, Ok song, but this is not the right venue for Top 40 radio tunes that you can hear in any elevator, mall or on a K-tel best of the 80's 3 a.m. mix Cd commercial.
This is an in an international station with (depending on the time of day) a very large percentage of the listeners not based in the USA. What Americans hear on AM & FM is not necessarily what we hear. I for one hope that international listeners will not be denied good music, simply because some want to veto anything that appears on American mainstream radio. To the naysayers, I have to agree with sirdroseph on this one. Love and Rockets has a huge Pandora's Box of good music. This one isn't in that box. To each his own, though...

I believe this one is good, so long as it played in moderation. I do prefer their song "All In My Mind" which Bill sometimes plays. Do they have any other good ones?

Good example of popular music in the mid-80's. It's great to get sampling from all modern music eraes. That's what makes RP so good.

This is what was GREAT about music in the 80's! I loved this song then, and I quite like it now. OK, back then this may mostly have been because I had a crush on Daniel Ash, but I think it holds up quite nicely.

Phew... this song epitomizes everything that was wrong with popular music in the late 80's, and is why I listened to The Doors and Pink Floyd in high school.
Love it! Reminds me of days cruising to the Deleware shore with the top down. Ahhh, the memories.
