Waking to these sounds again
I wonder how I'll sleep
Passing out is taking off into the stubborn deep
I'd like to meet a human who makes it all seem clear
To work out all these cycles and why I'm standing here
I'm falling

Over and over and over and over again now
Calling and over and over and over and over again now

Running through my life right now
I don't regret a thing
The things I do just make me laugh and make me want to drink
I'd like to meet a mad man who makes it all seem sane
To work out all these troubles and what there is to gain
I'm falling

Over and over and over and over again now
Calling and over and over and over and over again now

Projecting what I want is always hard to know
But when it comes between my sights I'll let the damage show

I'd like to meet a space man, who's got it going on
Sailing through the stars at night 'til our world is gone
I'm falling

Over and over and over and over again now
Calling and over and over and over and over again now

Over and over and over and over again now
Calling and over and over and over and over again now

Hey, Proclivs...

To be clear, I was not commenting on this particular song per se.

Conspiracy? I believe my original comment accurately reflects the "me too-ism" that is common in music today. If somebody has a hit with a certain style or approach, copycats are certain to follow. (How many emerging bands put their own twist on the Mumford & Sons sound?)

You can call it a conspiracy if you want. I think it's more a case of cynicism chasing a dollars and fame. Take care.

I was being facetious about the "conspiracy" description - making a silly joke.  It's just that there are so many remarks in these comment threads about how a song is "too repetitive" or something to that effect. - when repetition is an essential component of music.  I know what you mean about the "copy-cat" approach that occurs in popular music though; I guess that sort of thing is a constant.
Take care.

This me-too-ism is simply artists sharing - as they have since someone painted their hand and placed it on a cave wall. If this is me-too-ism, every holiday meal is me-too-ism where we share a meal with those you love even if you don't like them that much. Every song I listen to becomes apart of my unpublished catalog.

Have you looked at the date of this song?

Try Radio trump - it may be more to your "taste"

It's a conspiracy, or perhaps the title of this song is somehow related to the repetition of the lyrics in the chorus parts.

You could say that again.
And I will say Long Live RP over and over!!
I agree with other posts. Good for background music at work or small groups.

hippiechick! wow...it was 4 years ago you wrote this, shortly after I stopped listening to RP every day (for like 5 years...the dark ages!) and it has been long enough that most of your posts aren't showing up anymore on songs.....and yes, you are correct, this is a great mood maker disk! LLRP!!
She would like to meet a mailman?  Someone notify Cliff Clavin.

I still like listening to this album. Great background music to work to.
This song is WAY annoying...

Turned the volume off the last time I heard it on RP  - this time I tried to listen and find some quality that I liked...turned it off once again, really awful song...
...15 years...{#Pray}

Wow...This is pretty awful, lol...
Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz....
I love it. Perfect song for mellowing out after a long and tiresome day.
Over and over and out.
Am I wrong, or am I hearing a lot (as in "an excessive number") of songs with highly repetitive lyrics on RP these days?
Can't you just love unconditionally?? This is more than cheeba!!
I think I'd marry her just for that glorious voice.
It's better to have Morcheeba than Lesscheeba...{#Mrgreen}
Normally I am a Morcheeba guy, but with this, yeah, not so much...

Must have been l**d to it, cannot think what else apart from orgasm would make this memorable.... losing the will to live....

God, this is lethargic...zzzzzzzzzzz
A perfect sound for my first song of the morning.

Somehow I got to see this band live twice.  Once, the opener was Jim 'The West Texas Tom Waits' White.  Very odd juxtaposition of two acts I like a lot.
Great song- but they made plenty others - play some more please!!!
My insomnia is cured! Damn, too bad I'm at work. :-|
Love Morcheeba!
More Morcheeba Please!!!
...very nice...

Me too...and meanwhile I own every album they published... Just the voice and those charming harmonies let me forget, that I should be coding some database-stuff this morning. *deep sigh* Of course a 10.

Great album cover. I would live there!

I miss Skye! The "new" Morcheeba is not the same for me and I guess I'll have to be content with the "old" Morcheeba.
yup. I noticed that Skye is touring with the ol' "former singer of" byline. Hope she can make a name for herself, I love her soft yet crisp style.

We see the song has given you the influence they wanted to achieve.
Love the French Horn. Gives me serious chills.
i also like this piece. agree that nothing is special about this song, but the lyrics are nice and it makes me relaxed.
