When your heart beats within mine
Oh mine
Am I in any way divine?
Or still twisted and unkind?
And low down
In the misty gorges of time
Well oh Lord
When your heart beats within mine
No I never ever want this thing to pass
One should never fall in love with things that last
Last only for a day
And they'll stay with you for another day
Well oh Lord
When your heart beats within mine
Oh mine
Am I in any way divine?
Or still twisted and unkind?
Oh no I never ever want this thing to pass
One should never fall in love with things that last
Last only for a day
And they'll stay with you for another day
Well I can hear your heart beat
As we are lifted off the ground
It's all around
Oh no I never ever want this thing to pass
One should never fall in love with things that last
Last only for a day
And they'll stay with you for another day
No no I never ever want this thing to pass
One should never fall in love with things that last
Last only for a day

Audioengine = great speakers
I also have a pair of Audioengines! They are awesome.
Dear William - You have been one of the greatest musical influencers of my life! I am ever grateful for that. I love your transitions and themes and all of it even if I am not initially in love with all the new stuff… I don’t even know how long I have been listening although I do know that I entered the costa rica contests, I bought Audioengine speakers because of you! And now I have my own studio and taking your kind criticisms to heart and building and practicing. Your friend, TM

Sounds Big Head Todd-ish
It would be cool to hear Big Head Todd cover a Madrugada song
Five years since you came up with this gem. Are you out of your anal phase now?
I hope not, as that's pretty good. I had a buddy who used to sing, "when I blew a younger man's nose" instead of "when I wore a younger man's clothes" in Piano Man. I think it made it better.

Ha! I bought my Roku M1001 music player way back when because RP recommend it. WAY before Roku did anything with video streaming. I loved thst little thing, did exactly what I needed. Sadly, it died about a year ago. Now I have to deal with some Bluetooth BS.
May be the most beautiful song I have ever heard.
Certainly, no song I like more.
May be the most beautiful song I have ever heard.
i second that, if it was as not for RP KEXP the current out of minnesota and WFMU i would not hear music like this
Never listened to this band until now on RP. Thank you for this recommendation.
i agree completely. except, you and i are opposites. i generally prefer male voices. isn't that interesting? yet, we agree on this song otherwise.
still a wonderful song lily
that's all i hear, every song he does.
Beautiful song; conveying the joy and pain of love perfectly. I generally prefer female voices but this male voice is exceptional, a glorious tone, delivering the song clearly and with just the right level of emotion. The backing is restrained and matched so well to the emotions of the lyric.

I am sooo sick of this song. Please stop playing everyday!!!
Have not heard this song in a long time so i don’t know where you have been

It's called a joke. Like a meme depicting something/somebody in a pic.
You must be fun at parties.

Hahaha, only a medical professional appreciates the beauty in your words.
I don't know if he means it, but he can sing as though he means it.
Norwegians always mean what they sing!
Don't use your hard drive to store music files. A one terabyte external drive can hold about 200,000 songs.
I've got a nice little NAS with two mirrored disks. Nice and safe. Hopefully...
External hard drives die too.
Absolutely. I NEVER buy virtual music. I prefer to have a physical copy so if my hard drive crashes or my computer is stolen, I can still reload it. Plus, high end CD players sound better than iTunes. And there's the bonus of having the artwork and lyrics sheet. Finally, I don't have enough disk space for my entire collection on my computer.
I have two giant mover's boxes full of CDs. I've dragged them around for twenty years. Could not bring myself to get rid of them.
Then my laptop crapped out.
Music, as always, to the rescue.

How very progressive of you to mock a song that has the word gospel in it.
Go mock another religion - coward.

OMG!!! Rolling in Normal, IL!!!
Bloomington-Normal - that reminds me. I live in the Chicago burbs and would make plenty of drives to either central Illinois for work or to St.Louis or central MO for pleasure. I would make a special effort nearly every time to stop in B-N to eat at Schlotzsky's Deli; I loved their sandwiches & pizzas, but they closed all the stores locally, so this is basically my best shot to get their food. Seeing your comment here got me to look them up on Google ... and it looks like they shut down that location. Now I'm slightly depressed.

Spot on, I am constantly amazed that people come up this kind of shit on RP. Rickman one of my favourite actors too. Another reason that I too love RP

Yeah, but stay away from sphincter pass.
Oh great, thanks. Now that's all I can hear! Laughing, too.
Agree!
Yeah, but stay away from sphincter pass.
Teddy rode a horse up San Juan Hill, but he used a different mount to take Sphincter Pass...
Yeah, but stay away from sphincter pass.
You know, I was reading about this trying to understand you and Fred's joke here. I think I get it. I hear him sing it, and I am sure I don't ever want to visit sphincter pass.

Høyem and Burås really complemented one another. Høyem is still making good music, but Burås' absence is hard not to notice. Madrugada is one of my favorite RP discoveries.

not bad...but definitely different than Madrugada. It's a real shame what happened to Buras....Madrugada was great.

I ALWAYS buy CDs when they are available. Yeah, it's a bit inconvenient to wait for it but in addition to it working in CD players you can rip it to FLAC and enjoy that tasty audio goodness anywhere. It really doesn't compare to the MP3s you can get off Amazon etc; really no comparison at all. Once you've heard FLAC....
Plus while album art isn't what it used to be, it's not going to get any better from buying a digital copy. If an artist just produces one song "i like" I don't spend the money because really do they have the talent? On the other hand, with a CD I usually end up liking several songs more than whatever drew me to the artist in the first place. Beauty is fleeting but talent must be savored.

I havent bought an audio 'CD' in nearly as long as a 'album'... Anyone still use them?

Thanks for ruining an otherwise great song. Can't stop laughing, but this song will never be the same.
I guess it depends on which sphincter, but me too. LOL more than once!
truly.

Chill.... The quote never said anything about "correct" English. 'Seems like a legit, non-judgemental question to me. Besides, if I had to put money on what the correct way to pronounce "thing" was, I'd be fairly comfortable betting that using an "f" wouldn't be it...
But only if you still had all your front teeth. If they're missing, then the th sound morphs into an f. Somewhat related: we know that the toothbrush was invented in Arkansas. Anywhere else and it would have been called a teethbrush.

I use HD streaming for music discovery. If I like it I usually then buy it and rip it to flac to play from SSD drive. CD stored for ultimate back up. A place for all technology
