Penny whistles.  As soon as someone starts playing the bloody penny whistle.........
I get a "Where the Streets Have No Name "vibe from this song.

I agree. For me, those listed are not my taste, so for me it is possible to go wrong with them. Bring on the different inventive stuff!
If you're seated I dare you not to toe-tap to this song.

C'mon I dare you!

Hah!  I knew you would.
Saw them live in 1999 at Pinkpop, at a stage inside a tent. I didn't know them at the time. Cannot overstate what an amazing party the whole performance was. One of the most memorable ones at the festival that year. If it wasn't a tent, they would've blown the roof off.
This song takes me back to all that happiness and energy. Love it.
Every company annual sales conference video presentation you have ever been to.

Ever?  The stupidest thing...Ever?  I'd suggest a  new reading list that begins with some of the absolute batshit crazy "science" that climate change deniers spout.  Then move on a treatise on trickle down economics.  And for a real mind numbing, sample some flat-earther nonsense...

Some guy's opinion about what music is being played doesn't even touch the levels of complete and utter human imbecility that exist and is quickly becoming more normalized everyday...so just whoa up on the hyperbole a bit there..

Sad news. Simon Emmerson, founder of ACSS, died last month: https://worldmusiccentral.org/...

All Afrocelt fans, including me, owe him a debt of gratitude, and will remember him fondly. As the chant says, may the black deer be with you.

Now that is a lengthy comment.
Reminds me of that movie.

Then all the sudden it started to ROCK like ACSS. Very nice.

They were superb in their original incarnation including McNally, Emmerson and O Lionaird by the way - you really had to see them live to appreciate the talent ...

No, we can't go wrong with the Stones, the Allmans, etc.  Except with those cuts that former commercial radio listeners have each been forced to hear about 7,499 times. I call that progress. As for me, at least, this IS a classic deep cut, in large part because it's positive and upbeat, it's fun open road driving music, and it's not Rocket Piano Man's Bennie Jet Space Oddity Stairway to Heaven.  {#Yes}

I just bumped by 7 to an 8, this tune really starts cranking in the 2nd half of the 10+mins - and my thoughts are the track name "Mojave" is kinda funny cuz I'm thinking Arctic (i.e. it sounds like the Titanic music to me.)

Long Live RP!

I'm thinking that, along with programming, and other such activities, about the only thing this track is good for ... or maybe trippin' on acid.
But 10 minutes of droning is too much for anything else. Thankful for PSD.

Little did I know how thin it would sound this many years later. Meh.
Apparently there are many people posting comments here who love to see their complaining demeanor in writing. These same people are as untasteful as they say this song is.

Repetitive. A little corny. Good theme music for the Hobbits to have a cinema dance off with the Ewoks.
But I like it anyway. Thom Yorke isn't droning and Arcade Fire isn't drowning in its robodrumming.

everything sounds a bit the same.

 played alot here.

Great tunes in this.  Anyone know where I can find it?

Saw these guys perform this infront of a group of unbelievers (Thomas Covenant take note!) and they converted them by the middle of this track.

A seething mass of humanity swaying, baying, hooting, all having a great time. Hypnotised.

A great performance.
