Grow up and blow away
Flooding the room two by two
From the womb to the holiday
There is no holiday
First double-cross her heart
He wants to start a family
Needing something to go on
If she weren't writing in blood
She'd bring him her jokes, a new liver
And a shovel for the mud
If he were not knee-deep in mud
He'd bring her his drugs
He'd get her a typewriter
If this is the life
Why does it feel so good to die today?
Blue to gray
Grow up and blow away
If this is the life
Why does it feel so good to die today?
Blue to gray
Grow up and blow away
Nobody knows which street to take
He took the easy way
What was the easy way?
First double-cross her heart
He wants to start a family
She always thought she would not
If she weren't writing in blood
She'd bring him her jokes, a new liver
And a shovel for the mud
If he were not knee-deep in mud
He'd bring her his drugs
He'd get her a typewriter
If this is the life
Why does it feel so good to die today?
Blue to gray
Grow up and blow away
If this is the life
Why does it feel so good to die today?
Blue to gray
Grow up and blow away
First double-cross her heart
He wants to start a family
Her body is the baby
If this is the life
Why does it feel so good to die today?
Blue to gray
Grow up and blow away
If this is the life
Why does it feel so good to die today?
Blue to gray
Grow up and blow away

wow. RP just made me take my headphones off with a bad song. that doesn't happen ... Oh, it feels good to die, does it? How does this feel?
Well at least you were first!
Her voice reminds me of Ace of Bass - 'All that she wants'.
Her voice is really familiar...I'm kind of digging it...sort of a mid-late 90's vibe to it.
Finally, a 3-minute break. Gone pooping.
What a to-do to die today, at a minute or two to two;
a thing distinctly hard to say, but harder still to do.
Bizarre...I JUST downloaded this and now it's on RP...
Best song on the album next to 'Rock Me Now'.
Best song on the album next to 'Rock Me Now'.
I like this...and I really like the title even more. Although...it kind of has a "Death Cab" malaise about it.
I really like this one, it makes the booty shake!
Unusual to say the least.
