To the gallows
This is a round up
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing the song on the jukebox that goes
Burn the witch
Burn the witch
In a village
Red crosses on wooden doors
And if you float you burn
Loose talk around tables
Abandon all reason
Avoid all eye contact
Do not react
Shoot the messengers
This is a low flying panic attack
Sing a song of sixpence that goes
Burn the witch
Burn the witch
We know where you live
We know where you live
Radiohead are one of the few bands who get regular play time on this station that I really dislike. However I choose to listen to an eclectic station and the price I pay for that is I get a few tunes I don't care for now and then. Are Radiohead a price worth paying for the rest of the music? Absolutely!
Agreed. I feel the same way about R.E.M. but I'm not going to change to another station simply because they're on the playlist.
Off to the void with you then.
My sentiments EXACTLY! I've tried to like them and it just aint happening.

People are free to love or hate or be indifferent to Radiohead, but why do so many of you haters lack the ability to express cogent arguments?
Where does this sloppy, ranting animus come from? Are you incapable of recognizing musical complexity? Do lyrics which investigate the human condition threaten you? Does naked honesty in the human voice make you uncomfortable? Do you resent it when difficult music you dislike is commercially successful? Does your contempt come from a place of fear? Are you worried there is something you should understand but have not been able to grasp yet? Do you know even know what animus means?
Some great music is very simple and it is genius. “Louie, Louie” comes to mind. But great music is often difficult and even disturbing. It can be complex, and take time to understand. It can require you to open yourself up emotionally and intellectually and wrestle with it. Like it or not, Radiohead are an “important” musical group in the world culture of popular music. Aren’t you curious to know why this is the case?
If you count yourself amongst the Radiohead haters, then prove yourself worthy of your hatred. Write something intelligent and honest that shows you have tried to engage with them. Or go ahead and continue with the simplistic bile you feel the need to vomit out on your keyboard. The rest of us will simply see your comments as a reflection of your intelligence.
Oh B Van get over yourself. Im not a hater and I respect Radiohead for continuing to evolve their sound, but I think you're wearing your skinny jeans too tight mate. The snobbery dripping off your comment is almost funny. I was 25 when Creep came out. I've always been able to enjoy RH in small bites. As a sometime songwriter I have mixed responses to their stuff. To me their stuff masquerades as being more avant-garde than it really is. The production is superb, but the songs, structure-wise, are driven by a pretty formulaic aesthetic. Thom's vocals in particular are starting to sound lazy to me, like a.middle-aged man who's resting on his tried and true formula a bit too much.
That isn't to say I don't enjoy the music - I do - but I've always taken this band - and fans like yourself who like to wear their fandom like some intellectual badge of honour - with a pinch of salt.

Yorke's voice distracts me far too much to ever be able to appreciate the music, though I recognize there's something very good back there I'd love to be able to hear in peace. Every time Yorke opens his caterwauling mouth I cannot stop hearing the similarity with Herbert from Family Guy. Apparently I'm not alone in this...

It's too much to ask.
"Where does this sloppy, ranting animus come from?" Perhaps it takes being in a state of disbelief regardless of any item at hand. A heavily-conditioned worldview.
Come to the party, and bring a side. It's not too bad. Don't urinate on the lawn.
Y'all keep that in your drawers. And turn that Radiohead racket down. Po-po don't play.

Sometimes the Emporer just has no clothes.
This is sometimes called "the tyranny of the majority".
The music of dreams from the deepest sleep, of hallucinatory visions, and deep dark nightmares.
In short, not really like anything else going.
Genius.
Rumor has it they already have another album recorded and will be doing a full world tour in 2017.
Could not agree more. They've never done anything short of brilliant.

Maybe if you scratched your "Jack" (or put some ointment on it), you might not be so grumpy.

I checked past record sales of Radiohead and I understand how they got a record deal
Yeah, Yeah and thrice yeah indeed!!! All hail Radiohead! Godlike creators of dark, atmospheric, some say gloomy, rhythms and tunes that my kids don't get (...yet).
Permission to shout "Bravo" at an annoyingly loud volume, Sir?
Yes. Bravo, Sir!
We are all entitled to our own opinion, but "the same old whiny and UNINSPIRED Radiohead stuff."
You may not like te music, the vocals, the lyrics or anything else, but how can you possibly say this band is UNISPIRED, if by that you mean pedestrian, same as everyone else, boring etc?
As you rightly state, we are all entiteld to our own opinion. And my opinion is just that the music of Radiohead is uninspired (except very few songs). Radiohead is a pedestrian and boring band as many others out there. If millions of listeners think differently...it´s fine with me.
Correct is: it does sound like Ludovico Einaudi with guitar and vocal.
The mistake: It is not a excellent song; it is horrible, the same old whiny and uninspired Radiohead stuff.
Einaudi Ludovico alone is already bad, but the voice of Thom Yorke makes it perfectly unbearable.

A universal truth.
I know this song will be awesome live. Now I just need a ticket to see them.
