I swear it is true
The past isn't dead
It's alive, it is happening
In the back of my head

No future, no past
No laws of time
Can undo what is happening
When I close my eyes
And with the stars and the moon
I woke up in the night

In the same place
To save me for my eyes
It's happening, it's happening, it's happening again
It's happening, it's happening, it's happening again

I took a day or two
To exile from the light
To unfold that prisoner
They call a mind

And for a brief moment
We could stop the time
But with the stars and the moon
I woke up in the night

In the same place, it was sailing before my eyes
It's happening, it's happening, it's happening again

beautiful. Massively mic'd up in a real 1990s/"Rainy night in Georgia" way so she's singing right in your ear. And it's lovely
Beautiful
A unique voice.
How long is Now?

There is no "Here"
There is no "Now"
There is no "Time"
Only a flow
"The past" exists
But in your head
You dream your life
Then wake up dead
The only "Real"
Is how you feel.
The thoughts inside
They cannot steal.
How can you dwell on what's in store,
When all you know has gone before?

Being entranced by Agnes - it's happening again.

Agnes always puts you in a mood.

Огромный респект и благодарность Радио Парадайз за работу на благо сближения народов и континентов в наше неспокойное время! С любовью из России!

Something Einaudi-ish?

Whether I'm in an upbeat happy mood, or the opposite, an Agnes Obel song always seems to be a perfect fit.  I'm not sure how that's even possible?!
For that reason, if I was stranded on a desert island, Agnes would be one of my top choices for a female songstress to help me retain what little sanity I have left.

Also, as mentioned elsewhere - excellent driving music

Ummm. Can't help but notice a bunch of very positive song comments of late - do you need to update your moniker??

Cross between Julie Cruise and Enya

I don’t understand most of the comments and it could be that I’m new in this place or that I’m dumb, but I have enjoyed RP tonight more than any other music service before!

I love it!

For me it’s experimenting plenty of new tunes for me. I by that I mean I was hiding in a different world as many of the tunes have been around for more than 40 years!

Dumb or not you found something good my friend.  They dig up all sorts of great stuff here and it's worth putting up with what you know you don't like just in case it turns out you were wrong.  Or maybe I'm just highly impressionable.

That's the beauty of RP, it seems.  Such a wonderful service, everything else pales into insignificance.  I should really try to support more than I do...

Yes I will have to too
It sounds just like the album cover , nice but just too rounded up , no will to go on , just bury me at Wounded Knee

I'm new too. We can't get their old ways and jokes, not part of it.  But I've learned to ignore whatever I can't/don't get then simply move right along. Don't care whatever I missed, my eyes point forward.
FYI: Agnes Obel and Dead Can Dance are touring together across the US this spring and summer. Look for tickets!
I saw her, she's beautiful, she sings like an angel, i'm in love, i'm in love.

Just beautiful.
So it is happening again....
Wonderful talent.  Played in morning traffic, everyone else cutting, blaring and angry, this sets me up for the day.  The car virtually drives itself with the mellow vibes through the sub.  Beautiful.
Great vocal effect
Izabana, izabana, izabana...
Wonderful !! Wonderful !! :-)

Watch this and melt away...  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbb8RyvK7Us
Terrible !! Terrible !!

I liked her at first, but then I've briefly heard two albums of her and well, it's mostly the same. A little bit pretentious stuff too. What RP plays here is actually her best.
This song is happening again?!! Ugh.
Great haunting vocals! A nice new find thanks to RP!

You're completely transparent sometimes, BIllG. Sheesh!
Izabana, izabana, izabana? {#Roflol}

Edit: she sings like a siamese she-cat drunk with white wine.
she certainly gets played often enough.
I've really enjoyed every Agnes Obel song I've heard on RP.
9 other stuff she does might be a 10
it is happening again

Thanks RP for bringing the awareness of this great artist.
Never heard of Obel before listening to RP. Intriguing.
